Pricing is based on the amount of time it takes our editor first to carefully review the media you send and how long it takes actually to create your video. For example, the 15 second version only has up to 5 still images while an 8 minute video could have a combination of 23+ pictures and 4 videos. The former (without narration) requires an average of a couple of hours while the later can take days to edit (with reviews and changes). We rely a lot on the client's information in the form below.

Sample edits from the same video footage above can be seen in various lengths below. Finally, the number of elements in your Pop is not what constitutes quality. Those are only a loose guide. What determines quality of your Video Pop is this: does it sell your service or products?

Suggestions:

> On hiring photographers and videographers. Our first advice: don't. Photography doesn't have to be pro magazine work (unless that's your objective), but just friendly, well lit and in focus. Your phone can easily do that. Same with video. Try your hand at it. We most always, depending on context and the media you send to us, can make it work in your Video Pop.

> If you have a logo, use it. Your logo, like any one piece of art, counts as 1 picture.

> If you can, get at least one customer testimonial in writing and in video. If you cannot do this, plan on one in a later Video Pop. Permission to use required for staff and customers. We have permission forms in in the FAQ section below.

> In your media, show an owner, manager or an employee in a picture SMILING into the camera with a medium close shot. That's waist to shoulder. Have a background of a business, office or other relevant setting. If you want sound to be used with video, have them make a strong SHORT "elevator pitch" why new shoppers should come to you. "Short" means it will fit within the length of your selected Video Pop. Just keep it relaxed and casual.

How many times can I change my Video Pop design?
One time for Video Pop 1, 3 times for all others. Changes mean any in graphics, music, editing sequence. So you can redesign your video completely for any Video Pop if you are not satisfied with the first design. Your Video Pop style evolves as you grow your market, web page and presence. (See style below.)

Can you use photos/video from my web site?
Yes, especially if a photo or art is iconic or representative. Other than that, we recommend original images/video.

What format and size do you receive photos?
JPGS. They can be any sized per most cell phones but we recommend sending medium sizes.

Will my Video Pops reflect my business/organization style, color, etc.?
Yes. We will look at your web page and draw colors, wording and images. If you have a standard color scheme, just send it to us. If you have color chart, logo and standard photos of people, please include in your send.

Can I hire my own photographer and/or videographer?
Of course. However, please know our affiliate photographers and videographers know better what we are after with Video Pops. They start at day and half day rates. This way you can have extended photos and video for any type of video order. Half day: $200, Full day $350 + lunch. (If you are in the MidSouth, call us.)

What about sound?
Audio, like a person talking on camera, counts as 1 image. Background sound without voice is usually replaced with "presence," normal background audio recorded with the scene or music.

What about narration?
Narration is usually for longer Video Pops. Narration is not a person speaking on camera. Narration is when you just have a voice over the picture.  Like photos and video, you should make your narration casual, friendly, authoritative and supportive--exactly what your customers want from you anyway. We find the biggest narration challenges to be related with audio quality and keeping it to length. But go ahead and give it a shot. We'll let you know if it doesn't work.
>Narration requires more editing and adds to the individual Video Pop cost.
>Narration is counted as one video unit
If you are planning on narration do this:
> Include other video units as usual so you can have a fallback if narration does not work.

How do I get permission to use images of people and pets who are shown in my photos and/or video?
Simply ask them to sign a standard model release form. We include one at this link. It also releases free use of other people and pets. You need to print it out and send physical copies when signed by all parties to:
